Carman Wirtz, President
Carman Wirtz is a human resources professional with more than 21 years of experience. She has been employed with Quorum Health Group (Park Medical Center), Midwest Express Group, Honda North America, and Memorial Health. She currently serves as Senior Vice President of Human Resources with the Columbus Zoo. She is responsible for managing 300 year round and 1600 seasonal team members throughout Central Ohio by managing four full-time staff and a five-person Professional Employment Organization. Carman received her MBA degree from Urbana University and her B.S. in Public Administration from Upper Iowa University. Carman is active in the community as a business advisor for Urbana University, a Zoo School instructor and an AZA HR Committee Member. She currently resides in Marysville with her husband, Jeff. Carman has two grown children- Tyler and Kelsey. Her interests include: animal welfare, people development, ongoing learning, cooking and fitness.
Steve Cook, Vice President
Steve Cook retired from Continental / ContiTech in 2015 and began his own consulting business, Cooks Conveyor Belt Services LLC. This is a great carry over from his long professional career in the mining industry. Steve is Married to his wife Regina and has a blended family with four children and 8 grandchildren. He enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling. He and his wife are members of the the Trinity Lutheran Church and most enjoy great time with their children and grandchildren.
Dave Speicher, Secretary/Treasurer
Dave Speicher is a Union County native and graduate of Marysville High School. He studied business and accounting at Bluffton College and is a Certified Public Accountant. Dave has worked at Union Rural Electric for over 27 years and serves as its Chief Financial Officer. He has plenty of experience serving on local non-profit boards and served for many years as the Chair of Finance at his church.
Dave and his wife Tami, also a native of Union County, have two adult children and three grandsons. They enjoy family vacations, reading, and serving at their church.
Michelle Cook
Michelle Cook has been in the Staffing Industry for over 27 years where she held leadership roles for over 20 of those years. This experience is where she honed her business acumen and leadership competencies. Michelle and her husband have navigated the special needs services in Union County as they supported the needs of their son. She will bring a great perspective to the UCO board through her experiences with her now adult son. She also served as a board member on two other boards which include New Directions Career Center in Columbus and the Union County Board of Developmentally Disabled.
Michelle attended Ohio State University in business management. She is a Six Sigma Green belt and completed an MBA highlight program with Insead Business School in France. She attended a Social Media Master course with Hyper Island in Sweden
She currently serves on a committee with the Ohio Chamber of Commerce and American Staffing Association. She attends Claibourne United Methodist Church where she serves as the church Treasurer.
A Union County resident for most of her life, she resides in Marysville with her husband David. They are loving parents of their son and two daughters.
Dan Ohler

Meloney Indiciani
Meloney Indiciani is a business professional with over 15 years of experience. While her entire professional career has been with Honda Development & Manufacturing of America, LLC, she has held a number of diverse roles within Purchasing & Supply Chain organizations. This includes Delivery and Packaging Operations. She is currently New Model Packaging Unit Leader.
Meloney received her B.A. in Marketing and Transportation & Logistics from The Ohio State University. Meloney is originally from the Dublin area and currently resides in Powell with her husband, Brett, and two children Cameron and Cooper. She is active in her local community and her interests include boating, photography and spending time with her family.
Kim Jude
Kimberly A. Jude has had the wonderful opportunity to spend her entire career in Union County working with and advocating for students with disabilities. She began her career 19 years ago, as an Intervention Specialist working with students who were diagnosed with significant disabilities and since 2013 has served as the Director of Students Services for the Marysville Exempted Village School District. This position has given her the responsibility of not only overseeing Special Education, but also, 504’s, English Language Learners and nursing.
Kim received her Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio University, her Master of Education degree from Ashland University and is currently completing her Educational Doctorate through Concordia University.
Kim was born and raised in rural northwest Ohio, however has been a Union County resident since 2013. Kim resides just outside of Marysville with her partner, Greg where they enjoy spending time with their three wonderful children.

Dave Amerine, Chief Executive Officer
Dave Amerine has more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience in managed care. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President, Compliance for Buckeye Health Plan, a health plan serving the Medicaid, Medicare and commercial/exchange markets and experiencing significant growth during his tenure. In addition, Amerine has served as a volunteer Board member and Treasurer since 2002 for FFC Ohio, a not-for-profit Foundation with a mission to improve the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities. For twelve years previous to joining the FFC Board, Amerine served on the Board of Directors for Alternative Residences, Inc, a not-for-profit organization managing group homes for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Amerine was born and raised in Marysville and graduated from Marysville High School. He resides in Northwest Columbus with his wife Karen (Means) Amerine, also a Marysville High School graduate. They have two married sons and two grandsons, and they love spending time with all of them.
Amerine holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from The Ohio State University, and a non-practicing registration as a CPA.
Charlie Reed, Chief Financial Officer
Charlie Reed joined UCO in May of 2023 and has over 25 years of business operations, marketing, sales, finance, and accounting experience. In his previous role, he was an accomplished leader for Mobile Instrument, a surgical equipment repair firm. During his 13 years there, he had responsibility over sales, contracting, and business development, and then changed paths to oversee and evolve their accounting division, eventually becoming their CFO. He led their complete ERP upgrade, and then successfully managed Mobile’s acquisition by Agiliti Health and supported their subsequent initial public offering in April 2021.
Charlie earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Miami University, and an MBA-Finance degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he graduated with academic honors and was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
Charlie resides in Northwest Columbus and enjoys spending time with his loved ones. He is the proud father of two boys who are active in Scouting, and he serves on the troop committee. He also enjoys providing community service in his spare time.
Dan Gardner, Director of Operations
Dan Gardner brings nearly 30 years of experience at Honda suppliers to UCO Industries – with two decades at AY Manufacturing in Columbus. Former roles include Production Planner, Production Control Supervisor, Materials Manager, Plant Manager, and Vice President. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Utah with a degree in Japanese Studies.
Dan and his wife Barb have four children and reside in Galloway, Ohio. Dan loves being a Grandpa and spending time with his family. Other interests include working with youth in a variety of roles including: sports involvement, church role, or with the Boy Scouts of America.
Jessica Joseph, Human Resources Leader
Mrs. Joseph joined UCO in June, 2017 as the Executive Assistant. She is now the HR & Office Leader. She has previously worked for both Sears Home Services and Transportation Research Center. Jessica has an education background in health care industry including a Certification in Medical Office Management. Jessica grew up in the Hilliard area, and currently resides in Mechanicsburg with her Husband Donald and 2 children.
Sarah Snapp, Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor in 2013. Sarah is responsible for a large, diverse production team, overseeing all production operations. Ms. Snapp takes great pride in her job, especially the opportunity to work with individuals with developmental disabilities. Sarah holds a certificate with Teaching Professions Academy in special needs through Ohio Hi-Point Career Center and also attended Clark State Community College where she began her Associate of Arts Transfer degree. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and friends and working with her animals on her small farm. She resides near West Liberty with her husband Dillon.
Bobbi Fraker, Warehouse Supervisor
Ms. Fraker joined UCO Industries in October 2014. She has 20+ years of experience in the Honda automotive supply field and has been working in management for 10+ years. Bobbi brings positive change to UCO Industries by coaching and empowering team members to contribute their best, building top-performance teams committed to achieve desired metrics and establish best practices. She believes that customer service is every associates job and has worked with a team that earned an Outstanding Performance Award. Helping others and building the reciprocal relationship between staff and the organization is key in the Supervisor role. Ms. Fraker attended Columbus State Community College for Supply Chain Management. She strives to focus on UCO Industries Mission and Vision.
Carlie Glunt, Quality Supervisor
Mrs. Glunt first joined UCO Industries in June 2017 as a Quality Inspector. After nearly two years she took a leave of absence to focus on her new and growing family. Upon returning to UCO, she continued to show progress and a want to learn leading her into the position as Lead Quality Inspector. With this role she took on new responsibilities such as training, making quality related decisions and being a second hand to the Quality Supervisor learning many tasks relating the job. Beginning June 2022 Carlie began her new role as Quality Supervisor where she plans to continue growing and adding value to the Quality Department and UCO. Carlie and her husband reside outside of Marysville with their two daughters.
Dan Adelsberger, Second Shift Production Supervisor

Dan enjoys teaching and directing the associates on 2nd shift at UCO , ensuring all production needs are met on a daily basis. He has a B.S. Degree in business education from The Ohio State University .
In his spare time Dan enjoys traveling with his wife Judy in their RV , and spending time with their 4 grandkids and 2 great granddaughters .
